EverKids is our Sunday morning ministry for children from nursery through elementary school. Our goal is simple: to create a safe, welcoming space where children can learn about God's love, build friendships, and feel at home at church.
Children don't need any prior church experience - curiosity and energy are always welcome!
Children begin worship with their families and are invited to EverKids during the service. Our staff and volunteers will help guide your child to their classroom and make sure they feel comfortable.
If your child prefers to stay with you in worship, that's always okay. We have a special spot in the sanctuary called the "Prayground" where our youngest disciples can worship in their own way with crayons, puzzles, and quiet toys.
Our Nursery/Early Childhood Care is offered during our Sunday morning worship service for children aged 6 months - Pre-K. You can sit and enjoy worship in the sanctuary knowing that your children will be safe and sound, playing with our nursery staff.
Children begin in the 10 am service in the sanctuary with their families and participate in the Moment for Young Disciples with the congregation. After that, the EverKids head downstairs to study age-appropriate materials in their classrooms. EverKids Sunday school happens year round.
Our dance program (inspired by 1 Corinthians 13:13 is made up of Pre-K - 5th grade children. rehearsals for the dance program happen at various times throughout the year the school year from 11-11:30 and are led by experienced dancers who are part of our youth group. The 1313 Dance Company contributes to our worship service throughout the year.
UMCE's Children's Choir is made up of Pre-K - 5th grade children. Rehearsals for the choir happen at various times throughout the year the school year from 11-11:30 and is led by our Music Team. The choir contributes to our worship service throughout the year.
