The United Methodist Church of Evergreen is a part of the Rocky Mountain Conference of the United Methodist Church.  Our church has expanded in space, members, and mission since its beginning over 40 years ago. In the spirit of our founder, John Wesley, who began his career as a missionary to Native Americans in the Georgia colony, we affirm a spirit of openness and hospitality to all who seek a closer walk with God.

25 total hours worked per week.  Office Hours as follows: Minimum of 17 hours per week, primarily in the mornings, 4/5 days per week.  Schedule determined in consultation with the pastor. The additional 8 hours each week may be worked remotely, also in consultation with the pastor, to provide uninterrupted time for completing weekly tasks. Flexibility to work some extra hours during busy seasons and to attend occasional meetings is expected.



Serve as a public relations person for the Church and as liaison between the Pastor and the congregation and community

Function as an administrative assistant to Pastor and coordinate office volunteers.

Assist the Pastor by organizing the Sunday services and keeping informed of the members' needs

  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, Publishing and PowerPoint presentations.  Familiarity with website and Facebook page management.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work, possess good communication skills, be personable, pay attention to detail, ability to follow-up, be flexible, possess good office skills, be a self-starter, maintain a sense of humor and be able to work under pressure.
  • Ability to coordinate volunteers for office related needs.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding members and staff.
